The digital passport
Every animal in Farmso has one record — its digital passport. It links the official tag/EID to breed, sex, genealogy (sire and dam), birth premises, and every movement, treatment and inspection over the animal’s life. Because it is structured, you can query, validate and export a full life history in seconds.
On the Enterprise plan, a cryptographic hash of the canonical record is anchored on the Solana blockchain as a decentralised identifier (DID). Anyone can verify that the record they are shown matches what was recorded — without trusting Farmso or any single party. See On-chain anchoring for details.
Your organisation and roles
When you first sign in, Farmso creates your organisation (your farm business). All your animals, premises, records and team members live inside it. The person who created it is the owner; they invite others and assign roles — manager, vet, worker, accountant, viewer, transporter — each with the right level of access. Roles are enforced everywhere, so a worker cannot change billing and a viewer cannot edit records.

Existing customers are grandfathered: your original price and animal limit are kept even if catalogue limits change later.

Farmso blocks new animal registrations and prompts you to upgrade. Your existing records are never affected.
