Movements & transfers

Log animal transfers between premises with an automatic compliance pre-check and an auto-generated movement certificate — offline-ready in the field.

Movements record an animal’s change of location — from one premises to another, to market, to an abattoir. Each movement is part of the chain of custody, so an animal’s full history of where it has been is always available.

Before a movement is confirmed, Farmso runs a compliance pre-check: active withdrawal periods or a quarantine hold will block the move and tell you why, so a non-compliant transfer never slips through. When the move is valid, Farmso auto-generates the movement / transit certificate — the GTA transit guide in Brazil, or the equivalent instrument where one applies.

Use case

A worker loads a pen of steers for sale and scans them into a movement on the truck ramp — no signal out there. Two animals still have a live meat-withdrawal; the pre-check blocks them and flags exactly why. The rest clear, a transit certificate is generated, and the whole movement queues offline and syncs the moment the phone finds a bar of signal.

The compliance pre-check will block a movement while a withdrawal period or quarantine is active on any selected animal. This is deliberate — it stops a non-compliant sale or transfer before it happens.
