Inspections & welfare audits turn a clipboard walk-around into structured, defensible evidence. You work a checklist — each item marked pass, fail or N/A — and Farmso scores it automatically. Welfare templates are based on WOAH standards for farm, transport and slaughter, so you’re auditing against a recognised benchmark, not an ad-hoc list.
Every capture is backed by evidence: the inspection is geo-tagged at the location, supported by photos, and finished with a signature. Set them to recur on a schedule, and on completion print an inspection certificate — while the official sign-off itself stays with the competent authority.
Use case
A welfare auditor arrives at a feedlot for a scheduled audit. She opens the due inspection, works the WOAH transport checklist item by item, photographs a water point that fails, and the score header updates live. She captures the location, the manager signs on the screen, and she prints the inspection certificate. The recurring schedule already books the next audit — no separate reminder to set.
What an inspection captures
Scored checklist
Pass / fail / N-A per item, rolled up into an automatic score you see as you work.
WOAH welfare templates
Standardised welfare audit templates for farm, transport and slaughter contexts.
Geo-tag
The inspection’s location is captured, so evidence is tied to where it happened.
Photo evidence
Attach photos from the camera or library against the checklist and findings.
Signature
Capture an on-screen signature to sign off the completed inspection.
Recurring schedules
Set inspections to repeat, so the next audit is booked automatically.

Open finished inspections to read the score, checklist results, geo-tag, photos and signature.
- 4

Generate the printable inspection certificate — the record of the audit; official sign-off remains with the authority.
Capture an inspection
- 1
Open Tasks
In the Tasks tab, open the due inspection — overdue items are emphasised.
- 2
Work the checklist
The score header updates live as you mark each item pass, fail or N-A.
- 3
Add evidence
Capture the geo-tag, attach photos, and add notes against any finding.
- 4
Sign & complete
Take the on-screen signature and complete — the capture queues offline and produces the inspection certificate on sync.
The printable inspection certificate is Farmso’s record of the audit. Any official sign-off stays with the competent authority — Farmso prepares the evidence and certificate up to that hand-off.
Inspections & welfare audits unlock on the Premium plan. Captures are offline-first: geo-tag, photos and signature are stored on the device and sync through the Outbox when you reconnect.
